Scheduled checks for business CCTV systems where cameras, recording and remote viewing need to remain dependable during normal operations.
Scheduled CCTV maintenance for businesses with existing surveillance systems. We assess camera condition, recording, NVR/DVR and storage health, cabling, network connectivity and existing faults before defining the maintenance scope.
An AMC is different from a new CCTV installation. The first step is to establish what equipment is installed, what is currently working, what is already faulty and what should be included in the maintenance agreement.
Scheduled checks for business CCTV systems where cameras, recording and remote viewing need to remain dependable during normal operations.
Review camera availability, recorder and storage condition, PoE/network links and accessible field equipment across larger sites.
Document the installed cameras, recorder, hard disks, switches and known faults before agreeing what the AMC will cover.
A CCTV screen showing live video does not by itself prove that every channel is recording correctly. Maintenance should include recorder and playback checks so obvious recording or storage problems can be identified rather than assumed away.
Modern CCTV faults may come from the camera itself, the recorder, storage, power, cabling or the IP network. The maintenance scope should reflect the equipment actually present at the site.
Investigate cameras that are offline, unclear, unstable or not displaying as expected, then identify whether repair, configuration work or replacement should be quoted.
Check channel status, recording behaviour, playback and available storage information. Suspected recorder or hard-disk problems can then be documented for corrective action.
Review accessible connectors, network links and PoE paths when camera dropouts or connectivity problems may be related to cabling, switching or network configuration.
List the cameras, NVR/DVR, storage, switches and relevant network equipment, and record known faults.
Agree which equipment is covered, the preventive tasks, visit schedule and how faults or replacement parts will be handled.
Pre-existing faults can be identified separately so both sides know the starting condition of the system.
Carry out the agreed checks on the contracted schedule and document findings and recommended corrective work.
If you only have one immediate fault, start with troubleshooting or repair. If the business wants planned checks across an existing system, an AMC can define a recurring maintenance schedule and a clearer process for reporting future faults.
Tell us what is already installed and what problems you are seeing. If available, send the camera quantity, recorder details and photos of the NVR/DVR, rack or current fault screen. We can then determine the next assessment step and maintenance scope.
